my grandfather passed away last week. I’ve been working on my family tree and scanned these old pictures to use.
this is my grandfather (Talmadge Hagood Sr.) in his uniform. He earned 5 battle stars in WWII (participating in D-Day at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge). Wasn’t he handsome?!
This is a picture of his wife, my grandmother Pauline (Polly) Walker Hagood. She passed away 3 years ago.
This is a picture of my dad when he was little. He’s wearing his favorite cowboy shirt (pink and trimmed in black). He’s was a little cutie too!
And finally, this is my great-grandmother on the left. Her name was Mary Mae Howell Hagood and she was native american, part of the Cherokee tribe.
